The shape of life

A bridge of silver wings stretches from the dead ashes of an unforgiving nightmare
to the jeweled vision of a life started anew.

I could have chosen any of the ones in Porto, but Stari Most was the topic of conversation over coffee today. Some bridges keep you together. No matter what.

  1. What a wonderful bridge! I also clicked the link in your post and saw the whole bridge. They are, in my opinion, sometimes more beautiful than the most beautiful buildings since they often have rivers running beneath them. I’ve never been to Bosnia and Herzegovina, but will now keep it in mind.

My husband and I plan to go to Porto, Portugal next year for our 20th wedding anniversary. We’ve been to Lisbon and south in the past and loved it.

    1. Thank you for stopping by! You are right, they can be the most wonderful of “buildings” . You are going to love Porto, specially when you look at it from D. Luis (Eiffel) bridge, it looks like a fairy tale land. Perfect choice to celebrate a wedding anniversary! Congratulations ❤
